Brentford and Isleworth CLP is holding a summer barbecue and garden party on Sunday 2 September, taking place at 367 Chiswick High Road between 2pm and 5pm.

Admission is £5 and includes all you can eat barbecue and a bar with drinks at low prices.

Guest speakers will include John McDonnell, MP for Hayes and Harlington, and Andy Slaughter, MP for Hammersmith.

This will also provide a good opportunity for members to meet LCF executive who will be interviewing and assessing applications of people who are interested to become councillors.

There will be a raffle to raise funds for the campaign to elect a Labour MP for Brentford and Isleworth.

Stand up for Labour proved a great success. Not only did the audience of nearly 200 people enjoy great comedy from Joe Wells, Anthony Miller, Patricia Sinclair (played by Lucy Beaumont) and headliner Arthur Smith, but there were great speeches from Ken Livingstone and Andy Slaughter (MP for Hammersmith).

The evening raised over £700 for the CLP and another Stand up for Labour is being held at the George IV pub on Sunday 21 October.
